Hooray! Lime Crime's Pink Velvetines is finally here in the Manila! The long awaited release of this product and rave reviews from its predecessors made me want it even more! I don't personally own any of the velvetines, just because I had way too many red lipsticks. But boy do I want them now!
Pink Velvet comes in a very pretty frosted glass case with roses on its handle. I find this packaging prettier and more attractive than the past Velvetines. Lime Crime's packaging went for a more romantic and chic look. I gotta say I've been really impressed!
Pink Velvetine is a lip stain that goes on your lips very liquid. It dries fast and it dries matte. I for one love matte lipsticks. It claims to be touch proof , long wearing and utterly addictive!
Let me tell you, I agree on sooo many levels how great Pink Velvet is! It's touch proof, well almost, because you can still see a bit of the product transfer after a few minutes of wearing it. It's 100% long wearing. I wore mine for a full 8 hours which included munching and drinking a ton of stuff. The color did wear off a little but it still left a good amount of stain on my lips. Yes! Yes! Yes! I am addicted!!! I've been wearing this stuff since I got it last week and I'm not even close of being tired of it!
The color is just a perfect bright, almost neon pink with a blue undertone. It's perfect for those with a cool skintone but warm skintone can also work this lippy. It has a doe foot applicator which glides the liquid product with just the right amount. It has this perfect matte finish that doesn't dry my lips. It's such a comfortable lip product that sometimes I forget that I have lipstick on. It's such a perk knowing that putting on this lip stain will set my lips for the whole day, worry free. I don't even have to think of reapplying!
Ladies! This is something you would want in your collection. For those who loved Red Velvet and Suedeberry, this is definitely for you! And for all those women who are always on the go, this is also for you! Pretty packaging, perfect color and long staying power. Pink Velvet is a must have!
